Claims management
We don't just write the estimate. We fight for it.
Most estimating services stop when the report is delivered. That's exactly when the carrier pushes back. We stay on the claim — rebuttals, supplements, re-inspections, appraisal packages, follow-ups — until it's paid.
How we fight a claim
Six stages, from the first estimate to the payment. The figures in the animation are an illustrative example claim, not a reported result.
From our job board
12 large-loss rebuilds. The carriers' estimates were short by $12.7M.
- Carrier estimates on file
- $15.4M
- Our line-item scope
- $28.1M
- Median gap per claim
- +84%
Whole-home rebuild reports for one builder client, delivered in a median of 8 days. These are the documented gaps between the carrier's figure and the full scope, which is where the rebuttal starts. They are not settled amounts.
Claims we take on
Underpaid
The carrier's desk estimate missed scope or used the wrong price list.
Below deductible
Closed without payment because the carrier's number never cleared the deductible.
Denied
Wear and tear, late notice, pre-existing damage — the reason, and the evidence that answers it.
Hidden damage
Found during tear-off or demo, and owed as a supplement inside the deadline.
Stuck in dispute
Agreement on coverage, not on the amount — the case for appraisal.
Gone quiet
No response, missed statutory deadlines, the same request asked twice.
What we do
- • Full-scope Xactimate® / Symbility™ estimate on the carrier's price list
- • Line-by-line rebuttal of the carrier's estimate, with photos and code basis
- • Supplements for hidden damage, filed inside the deadline
- • Re-inspection and appraisal packages
- • Written follow-ups and a tracked board until the claim closes
Who talks to the carrier
You, or your licensed public adjuster. We work behind them, so every conversation with the carrier starts with a complete, documented case — and nobody has to rebuild it when the adjuster changes. No public adjuster yet? Read when one is worth hiring.
Questions
- Do you negotiate with the insurance company for me?
- You or your licensed public adjuster stays the voice to the carrier. We build and maintain the case behind them: the estimate, the line-by-line rebuttal, supplements, re-inspection and appraisal packages, and the written follow-ups — and we keep it moving until it closes.
- Do you only work on claims you estimated?
- No. Send us the carrier's estimate and your photos on any open claim. We'll write the full-scope estimate and the rebuttal from there.
- What does claims management cost?
- It's included with supplements on the Growth plan and above, and quoted per claim otherwise. See the pricing page, or book a call with the claim in front of you.
- Is there a deadline I should worry about?
- Usually, yes. In Florida a claim must be reported within 1 year of the date of loss and a supplement within 18 months. Our deadline calculator gives you every date from the date of loss.
